Estación de Chamberí

Chamberi Station is a former metro station on Line 1 opened in 1919 as one of the first eight stations of the network. It was closed in 1996 due to modernization needs and now converted into a museum. You can see authentic platforms, historic footage, and learn about the development of Madrid’s metro system. It is known as the “ Ghost Station” because it was abandoned for decades but still visible from passing trains on Line 1.
